The Latest Photo-Shoot From Ray-Ban

Since October Ray-Ban and Pedestrian website have been collecting photos from Australia’s best new photographers, professional and amateur alike, for entry into the 2011 Ray-Ban Photo of the Year competition.

This year the four categories were Music, Mobile, Social and of course, Ray-Ban being Ray-Ban , Fashion. Voting has now closed and the category winners along with the overall winner will be announced a party on December 14th.

Well, as you’d expect the photos are suitably fashionable, social and musical in every way and voters were invited to choose their favourites, with the top five in each area being out before a panel of judges which includes Yeah Yeah Yeahs guitarist Nick Zinner, top music photographer Tony Mott and former Harpers Bazaar editor Jamie Huckbody.

The lucky winner will receive a five nights trip to Las Vegas, which includes a helicopter flight around the Grand Canyon, and of course, a flash-load of kudos. Category winners will get $3,000 worth of Ray-Ban and camera equipment. Nice.
