Vonn's Magic 50
An emotional Lindsey Vonn secured her 50th FIS World Cup victory in the Downhill race in Germany.
The Oakley superstar snatched victory in difficult conditions, with the temperatures at Garmisch-Partenkirchen resort in Kandahar falling well below freezing.
It wasn't plain sailing for Vonn and she had to dig deep after falling behind early on, before recovering to snatch gold from Swiss rider Nadja Kamer by 0.41 seconds. Vonn finished 0.79 seconds ahead of third-placed Tina Weirather.

With this latest win, Vonn's lead at the top of the overall World Cup standings to a jaw-dropping 482 points.
At just 27, Vonn stands a good chance of becoming the most successful women's downhill skier of all time. The American has tasted victory on nine occasions already this season, and is only the third woman to ever reach the magic 50 mark.
Vonn is now only five wins behind legend Vreni Schneider (55 wins) and seven behind all-time record holder Annemarie Moser-Proell (62 wins).
