The late Alexander McQueen began his fashion journey as an apprentice at traditional Savile Row tailors, Anderson and Shephard. A few years later, a gap which included stints in theatrical design and time spent designing in Milan, McQueen returned to London and completed a Masters degree in Fashion Design at Central Saint Martins College. He showed his MA collection in 1992, which was famously bought in its entirety by the late Isabella Blow.

The legacy lives on in the form of his unique and edgy sunglasses collection. Dark and opulent, McQueen’s designs have a distinct British feel to them using contemporary styles of frames, mixed with his own dark and gothic style.
