Alexander McQueen

The late and rather great, Alexander McQueen began his fashion career as an apprentice working at the traditional Savile Row tailors, Anderson and Shephard.
A few years later, Alexander McQueen (aka, Lee) set out to broaden his horizons with travel, and to experience the more dramatic sectors of design, including stints in designing and making theatrical costume and time spent designing in Milan.

Alexander McQueen returned to London and completed a Masters degree in Fashion Design at Central Saint Martins College. After showing his MA collection in 1992, his debut collection was famously bought in its entirety by his great friend and mentor/muse, the late Isabella Blow. Today, his legacy lives on in the form of his unique eyewear collection that boasts dark and opulent palettes mixed with edgy detailing. McQueen’s collections have a distinct British feel to them and his eyewear collection is the perfect way to integrate the designer’s coveted style into your everyday wardrobe.
