Five adidas Sunglasses Tips This Week...

Tip 1: The sun’s out, the sun’s in, the sun’s out, the sun’s in. That’s what it’s like at the moment. With adidas’ Light Stabilising Technology (LST) these little (or big) fluctuations in sunlight are accounted for nicely. adidas say that dazzle is caused not only by glare but by rapid changes from light to shadow, if you were running through a tree filled area for example, and adidas’ LST harmonises these fluctuations. The result is less eye fatigue.

Tip 2: King of the road. A red LST lens not only stabilises light and enhances contrast it has a profound psychological effect. What we’re trying to say is that red makes you feel bolder and better when you’re running or riding or whatever you’re doing when you’re wearing your adidas sunglasses.

Tip 3: Are you sitting comfortably? A frame that actually works rather than just sitting on your head is what you want. adidas want you to have perfect fitting eyewear. The adidas concept is one of minimum weight and maximum flexibility plus adidas tech that moulds the frame to your head so that ‘you only feel the frame when you take it off’. Look for the double-snap nosebridge, three levels of height adjustment for a pressure free yet fully gripping fit.

Tip 4: Want real UV protection? The adidas SPACE Lens has been compared to using factor 32 sunscreen on your skin. Why SPACE? Because it was developed and used with great success on numerous NASA and ISS astronaut space missions. If there’s anyone who gets a closer look at the sun and ultra violet it’s an astronaut.

Tip 5: It’s tough sometimes when you’re in the field. Your frames can easily fall off but choosing an adidas with a quick-release hinge will sort this out. They’re designed to release under force so if you have an eyewear impact your sunglasses won’t get damaged.
